Monis Blonstein was a jeweller operating from premises on Sturt Street, Ballarat[1] in <1882-1887>.

Valedictory to Mr. Bloustein, of Ballarat.
Last Sunday afternoon Mr. Morris Bloustein, who has resigned from the congregation and other communal institutions owing to his departure for South Africa, was made the recipient of a very handsome and illuminated address, suitably worded and in book form, by the committee on behalf of the congregation. The presentation took place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Marks. Mr. Marks presided, and among those present were several members of the congregation, including Messrs. J. Bernstein, W. Flegeltaub, M. E. Hamburger, S. Levy, A. Levy and Rev. I. M. Goldreich.[2]
