Mt Pleasant Avenue of Honour

Background

In March 2018 seven cedars of an original twelve dedicated in Mt Pleasant were standing. Associated with the Mt Pleasant Methodist Church, the trees are dedicated by the Rev. Indian to members of the Independant Order of Rechabites Mt Pleasant who served during World War One. Of those who served two made the ultimate sacrifice.
