Owen William Eason was born at Winter's Flat near Ballarat, the son of George Eason. He enlisted for service during World War One on 19 July 1915, aged 21 years and 11 months.[1]
Private (4184) Owen W. Eason of the 14th Battalion embarked from Melbourne on the HMAT Demosthenes on 29 December 2015. He was killed in action 'in the field' in France on 29 August 1916. He [2]
Legacy
Owen William Eason's World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
