History
Percy James Curnow was born at Geelong. He enlisted as a 24 year old blacksmith at Ballarat on 20 August 1918. Percy Curnow (233) was a member of the 8th Battalion. Hi next of kin were Mr and Mrs W.E. Curnow of Fitzroy St, Geelong.[1]
In 1967 Annie M. Curnow, widow of Pecry James Curnow, applied for the ANZAC Medal.[2]
Legacy
World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
