History
Richard Berry was born in Ballarat, studied at the Ballarat School of Mines, and worked as a painter.[1]
In 1916 Richard Berry won the Stansfield and Smith Studentship for Signwriting at the Ballarat School of Mines.
On 23 April 1917 Richard Berry (752A) enlisted into the Australian Imperial Force. His next of kin was his mother, Jane Berry of 813 Urquhart Street, Ballarat.[2]
Legacy
World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
