History
Robert Campbell was a Blacksmith when he enrolled in the Australian Imperial Forces (light Horse) on the 25th October 1914, He embarked Freemantle on the "Mashobra" on the 8th December 1915, he then embarked for Gallipoli, on the "Alexendria" on 1st August 1914, he arrived in Oxfordshire on the 4th August 1919 and was discharged 28th November 1919.
He received the Star Medal No 5744, British War Medal No 1703 and the Victory Medal no 1700. [1]
