History
Bardwell's Royal Studio was established in 1854. In 1881 they boasted 'The largest and best appointed Studio in the colonies.[1]
Site
Bardwell's Royal Studio was situated in Sturt Street in 1865, and 1888-1891.
In 1869 the studio was opposite Ballarat's Theatre Royal.
