Samuel Leece enlisted in AIF on 20 September 1915.[1]

Legacy

Tree 2650 in the Ballarat Avenue of Honour was planted for Samuel Leece of the 2nd Australian Tunnelling Company. The tree is a Scarlet Oak, and was planted on 20 July 1918 by Mr F. Herman.[2]
