History

The Sebastopol Plateau Gold Mine No. 1 was located was situated around Morgan Street and Edwards Street, Sebastopol. It cut the Phoenix lode, and was sunk to a depth of 1,000 feet, with a yeild of 10,625 ounces of gold.[1]
