Sidney Charles Mills served with the A.I.F. in World War One.

History

Mills was born at Bristol, England.[1]

Mills was employed by the Electric Supply Co. as a motorman on the Ballarat Tramway. He started as a casual on 22 February 1915.[2] He resigned on 13 May 1915 to enlist with the A.I.F., 4th Light Horse.[2]

After the war, Mills returned to work at the tramway, starting on 8 September 1919.[2] He resigned "of his own accord" on 28 October 1922.[2]

He died at Moorabbin on 22 January 1954:

MILLS, Sidney Charles_On January 22, at Chapel road, Moorabbin, loved husband of Ettie (nee Nicholson), aged 59 years. Late 4th Light Horse, 1st A.I.F.[3]
