Background

Maryborough's Soho Foundry were engineers, iron and brass founders, boiler makers and blacksmiths.

History

Robinson and Abraham founded the Soho Foundry in Maryborough, Victoria, in the 1800s. It was probably through the family links to Matthew Boulton and Anne Robinson (of the Soho Foundry in Birmingham, England) that the Maryborough foundry received its name.[1]
