Background

Solomon Kittelty was born in 1823. From the 1850s he was a bootmaker at Melbourne Road, Warrenheip. He was involved in the Warrenheip school and church community, and died there in 1905.[1]

Family

Solomon Kittelty married Esther Chapman (1835 - 1909).

Obituary

The funeral of Mr. Solomon Kittlety, of Warrenheip, took place at the New Ceme-tery yesterday, and was well attended. Messrs R. Hosking, W. Clark, J. H. Hosking, J. Eggleton, T. Mason, J. McGregor, J. Roberts, and M. Bell were pall-bearers, and the coffin-bearers were Messrs C. Bristow, H. Clark, R. Higgins, and J. Clark. Rev H. Williams conducted service at the house and grave. Messrs Jordan and Tippett carried out the funeral arrangements.[3]
