History

Lieutenant 'Syd' Burrow was a regional instructor for the compulsory cadets training scheme.[1]

One of the Lucas Girls, Miss Annie Upham, 'received a special token from Syd Burrow in January 1918 after she planted his tree in the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.’[2]

Legacy

World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
