T. F. S. Tregurtha

History

Thomas Fabian Speedwell Tregurtha was born at Ballarat in 1889, the son of Thomas Tregurtha. He attended Mapgie Primary School. He was a miner at the time of his World War One enlistment, and served in the 11th Battalion at Gallipoli. He died of wounds at Gallipoli on 22 August 1915.

Legacy

World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour, and the Magpie State School Honour Roll.
