Temperance G. Mine was a gold mine located at Nerina, near Ballarat, in 1887. [1]
History
The Temperance Company commenced operations in June 1859, upon the claim of the Sisters' Co. claim on the south side.[2]
The Band of Hope Quartz Co. ceased operations in 1867, and in 1872 the claim was in the possession of the Temperance Company.[3]
In March 1867 the Sisters' Co. was sold to the Temperance Gold Mine.[4]
