Textile Manufacturing

Operators involved in Textile Manufacturing will have one or a combination of the following activities as the primary activity of their operations: lanolin manufacturing; noil, wool, manufacturing; scoured wool manufacturing; slag wool manufacturing; unspun wool tops manufacturing; wool grease manufacturing; wool wax manufacturing; carded or combed wool manufacturing; cotton sewing thread manufacturing; tow manufacturing (from flax, hemp or jute); cotton tyre cord yarn or fabric manufacturing; woven cotton fabric manufacturing; woollen or worsted woven fabric manufacturing; cotton, flax or silk yarn manufacturing; woollen yarn manufacturing; fibreglass fabric manufacturing; woven lacing manufacturing; synthetic fibre tyre cord yarn or fabric manufacturing; elastic or elastomeric yarn manufacturing; and/or synthetic fibre yarn manufacturing.


Leather Tanning, Fur Dressing and Leather Product Manufacturing

Operators involved in Leather Tanning, Fur Dressing and Leather Product Manufacturing will have one or a combination of the following activities as the primary activity of their operations: leather or leather substitute bag manufacturing; bleaching and currying fur; currying hides; embossing hides and skins; fellmongery operations; finishing hides and skins; fur rug manufacturing; fur skin dressing or dyeing; handbag manufacturing (including metal mesh handbags); harness manufacturing; japanning hides and skins; industrial leather packing manufacturing; leather or leather substitute machine belting manufacturing; pelt finishing and tanning; pulling sheep and lamb skin; saddle manufacturing; scraping fur and pelt; sheepskin seat cover manufacture; slipe wool manufacturing; suitcase manufacturing (including canvas); tanning hides and skins; leather toy manufacturing; and/or wallet manufacturing (including metal mesh wallets).


Textile Product Manufacturing

Operators involved in Textile Product Manufacturing will have one or a combination of the following activities as the primary activity of their operations: carpet manufacturing; carpet tile manufacturing; textile floor rug manufacturing; hard fibre floor covering manufacturing (including sisal, coir and grass mat); jute matting manufacturing; cable manufacturing (from natural or synthetic fibres); cord manufacturing (except wire rope or tyre cord); cordage manufacturing; fish net manufacturing; textile netting manufacturing; rope manufacturing (except wire rope); string manufacturing; twine manufacturing; animal blanket/cover manufacturing; textile awning manufacturing; textile or canvas bag or sack manufacturing (for packaging); bed linen manufacturing; textile blind manufacturing (including plastic coated); cotton textile furnishing manufacturing; curtain manufacturing; cushion manufacturing (except rubber); flag or banner manufacturing; canvas hose manufacturing; life jacket manufacturing; motor vehicle cover manufacturing; parachute manufacturing; pillow manufacturing (except rubber); sail manufacturing; textile seat cover manufacturing (except sheepskin); sleeping bag manufacturing; soft furnishing manufacturing; synthetic fibre textile furnishing manufacturing; tent manufacturing (except oxygen tents or toy tents); woollen textile furnishing manufacturing; woven badge manufacturing; textile binding manufacturing; embroidered apparel manufacturing; embroidered fabric manufacturing; felt manufacturing; printed cloth label manufacturing; woven cloth label manufacturing; textile dyeing; textile fabric coating; textile printing (except screen printing); and/or underfelt manufacturing.


Knitted Product Manufacturing

Operators involved in Knitted Product Manufacturing will have one or a combination of the following activities as the primary activity of their operations: knitted clothing manufacturing; crocheted fabric manufacturing; custom knitting of pullovers or cardigans; hosiery manufacturing; knitted jacket manufacturing; knitted jersey manufacturing; knitted fabric manufacturing; panty hose manufacturing; sock manufacturing; stocking manufacturing; and/or tights manufacturing.


Clothing and Footwear Manufacturing

Operators involved in Clothing and Footwear Manufacturing will have one or a combination of the following activities as the primary activity of their operations: belt manufacturing (for clothing); fur clothing manufacturing; leather clothing manufacturing; plastic or rubber clothing manufacturing; glove manufacturing (except rubber); handkerchief manufacturing; hat and cap manufacturing; headwear manufacturing; fabric or leather helmet manufacturing; infants’ clothing manufacturing; jeans manufacturing; laces manufacturing; men’s and boys’ wear manufacturing; outerwear manufacturing; sleepwear manufacturing; swimwear manufacturing; tie manufacturing; underwear manufacturing; uniform manufacturing; waterproof clothing manufacturing; wetsuit manufacturing; women’s and girls’ wear manufacturing; workwear manufacturing; boot manufacturing; footwear component manufacturing; footwear manufacturing (including safety or protective footwear); orthopaedic shoe manufacturing (excluding orthopaedic extension footwear); sandal manufacturing; shoe manufacturing; and/or slipper manufacturing.
