Private 'Tom' Rowlands (1158) was the grandson and namesake of a participant at Eureka Stockade. Thomas worked as a harness maker for Thomas Joseph O'Brien of Ballarat.[1]
Private 'Tom' Rowlands was a member of the 4th Battalion during World War One.<,ref>Ballarat Avenue of Honour plaque, 2015.</ref>
