History

Private Thomas P. Veal (2220) died on 01 November 1915 in France during World War One, and is buried at the St Sever Cemetery in Rouen, France. The cemetery was used during World War I as a burial place for the allied soldiers who died in the field hospitals in the area and the nearby British military base.[1]

Legacy

World War One service recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.
