Thomas Richard Gregan
History
Thomas Richard Gregan was born in 1895 in Ballarat, Victoria, to Thomas Regan (1866-1934) and Catherine Mary Cecilia Regan (nee McCarthy) (1869-1914). They were a Roman Catholic family. Thomas had a younger sister Kathleen Mary Cecelia Gregan (1903-1979) and two younger brothers John Robert Francis Gregan (1898-1918) and Leonard Patrick Gregan (known affectionately as 'Leo') (1906-1937).
Railway Transfers-Among the recent transfers and promotions at the local railway station are the following:-Mr T. Albiston, messenger, to Melbourune goods shed, the vacancy being filled by Mr J. Burke, messenger, of Melbourne goods; Mr T. R. Gregan, the leading block-recorder of the yard signal box, has been promoted to the goods shed. The vacancy has been filled by Mr Dave Bedford, of the platform staff.[1] |
