History
Thornton studios were known to have been taking photographs professionally from before 1918 and after 1928.
Legacy
Photographs by Thornton Studios were often reproduced in newspapers such as The Argus and The Australiasian.
Location
Thornton Studios were at 44 Sturt Street in 1921. The premises were formerly used by A.J. Chuck, photographer
