NEWS AND NOTES.
At the Warden's Court, Smythesdale, on Monday before the Resident Warden, the following business was transacted:-Joseph Pounder v Daniel Garvey, application for an abandoned share in the Try Again Gold Mining Company, Oldham Lead; order for registration. Robert Bell v Isabella McPhee, for an abandoned share; postponed for a week. John Cawley v James Kennelly, application for two abandoned shares in the Grand Trunk Gold Mining Company, Springdallah; postponed for fourteen days. Terry and party v Kirkland and party, for encroachment on ground at Bull Dog; order for the plaintiff to be put in possession of the ground as originally taken up. Barns and party v Evans and party, application for some abandoned ground; order for registration. John O'Brien v Wilson and Shepperd, application for an abandoned share in the Surprise Gold Mining Company, Smythesdale, of which Shepperd held one-quarter sleeping share and Wilson three-quarters share (working); order for registration.[1]
