History

Louis Wilfred Brew was born in Liverpool, England on o1 April 1899, making him barely 16 when he enlisted for service during World War One at Ballarat on 20 June 1915. His next of kin was H. Brew of 321 Lyons Street South, Ballarat. Louis Brew returned to Australia in January 1919.[1]

Legacy

The World War One service of Louis Brew is recognised on the Ballarat Avenue of Honour.

Louis Wilfred Brew's name is listed in the Ballarat School of Mines Honor Roll.[2]
