William Brownbill was a miner in Ballarat, <1851>.
History
William Brownbill was the discoverer of gold at Brown Hill, Ballarat in 1851.[1]
Legacy
The suburb of Brown Hill, is named after him, as it was a corruption of the name Brownbill's Diggings.[2]
