The death occurred In Ballarat on Saturday of Mr William Crabb, a well-known mine manager of Ballarat East. The deceased, who was 64 years of age, had charge until recently, of the Victoria United mine. He suffered from bronchial asthma, which was the cause of his death.[1]

Mr William Crabbe, a well-known mine manager, of Ballarat East, died on December 5. About four years ago Mr Crabb was brought from South Australia to manage the Victoria United mine.[2]
